MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 19, 2012 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Jean Armitage – Council on Aging
Jean Armitage presented the Board of Selectmen with Tolland’s Council on Aging Transportation procedure and policy. Selectboard approved as presented.
Eric Roddy, Bridghtridge Solar
Eric presented the Board with a Net Metering Credit Allocation Agreement between CTC Electric, LLC (d/b/a Bridgeridge Solar) and the Town of Tolland, Massachusetts (see attached agreement)
Also, presented was (PILOT) Agreement Payment In Lieu of Taxes between the Town of Tolland, Hampden County, Massachusetts CTC Electric, LLC (d/b/a Brightridge Solar), and Deming Family Nominee Trust (see attached agreement)
A legal notice will be placed in local newspapers to hire a highway seasonal employee. The ad will read as follows:
HIGHWAY SEASONAL HELP
The Town of Tolland, acting through its Board of Selectmen, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Seasonal Driver/Laborer for the Tolland Highway Department. CDL license and hoisting is a plus. Applications are available at the Town Hall, 241 West Granville Road, Tolland, MA 01034 during normal business hours and must be returned to the Selectmen’s Office by 3PM on December 10, 2012.
The job description for the Department of Publics Works, Superintendent was edited by the Board of Selectmen and will be submitted to D.I. Jacobs to be written in the current format.
The Board of Selectmen will be scheduling to meet with the Highway Superintendent every 3rd Monday of the month and the Police and Fire Chief every 4th Monday of the month.
